Terry Edward Briggs

Terry Edward Briggs, 37, of Phelps, KY, passed away Monday April 11, 2016 at Phelps.  He was born February 17, 1979 in Williamson, WV, a son of Jerry Briggs and the late Christine Justice Briggs.

Terry was a former heavy equipment operator, having worked for Sunny Ridge & other companies.  He was of the Apostolic faith.

Survivors include his wife: Brandee Briggs of McCarr, KY; father & stepmother: Jerry (Joy) Briggs of Phelps, KY; two sons: Preston Edward Briggs, Bentley James Briggs both of Ransom, KY; two daughters: Terriona Jade Briggs, Riley Jade Nicole Briggs both of Ransom, KY; two brothers: Robert Briggs, Phelps, KY, Joshua (Laura) O’Quinn of Florence, KY; one sister: JoAnn Coleman (fiancée: Daniel Justice) of Bristol, TN; two step-sisters: Tina (Danny) Ratliff of New Iberia, Louisiana, Sheila (Michael) West of Pikeville, KY; one niece: Tiffany Shea (Jonathan) Hamilton, Pikeville, KY, and a host of friends & family to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Reverend Richard McKinney officiating.

Burial will follow in the family cemetery, Ransom, KY.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with services at 7:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
