Bernadette (Baisden) Gilman

Bernadette Baisden Gilman, 42, of Belfry, KY, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was born November 5, 1975 in South Williamson, KY, a daughter of Lisa Gail Baisden and the late Columbus “Columbo” Baisden.  In addition to her father, Bernadette was preceded in death by one grandchild: Aubree Cline.

Bernadette was of the Church of God faith and a homemaker.  She enjoyed helping others and was looking forward to spending time with her new grandson who was born September 14th. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother: Lisa Gail Baisden of North Matewan, WV; husband: John Gilman of Belfry, KY; one son: Jimmy (Abby) Baisden of Matewan, WV; two daughters: Kendra (Branson) Cline of Gilbert, WV & Rebecca Adkins of Belfry, KY; one sister: Bridget Baisden of Matewan, WV; two step-children: Ruley (Destiny) Adkins & Mary Goodman of McAndrews, KY; two grandchildren: Issak Baisden & Dustin Matthew Adkins; and a host of step-grandchildren, cousins, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Sprigg Community Church, Sprigg, WV.

Burial will follow in the Baisden Cemetery, Rutherford Hollow, North Matewan, WV with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Monday at the church with special services at 7:00 P.M.
