Clifford Triplett

Clifford Triplett, 73, of McAndrews, KY, celebrated his homegoing October 28, 2018 while a patient at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.  He was born May 23, 1945 in McAndrews, KY, the son of the late Grace Triplett Smith, and stepdad, the late Kellis Smith.

Clifford loved life and lived it to its fullest.  He loved the Lord and was a light to all who met him.  Clifford was a retired body, fender, paint and repairman, having owned and operated Triplett’s Body Shop, and was always a help to all that knew him.   Clifford loved spending his free time at the barn and taking care of his horses.

Clifford was the loving husband of Shirley Morris Triplett of McAndrews, KY; father of Cliftina Triplett (Jon Edwards) of Pinsonfork, KY, Clifford Douglas (Shannon) Triplett of Canada, KY; and brother to: Peggy (Donnie) Rowe of Montgomery, PA.  He was a Papaw to five loving grandchildren: Jason Mullins (Brandi Thacker) of McAndrews KY, Kari (Larry) Reed of McLeansboro, IL, Kearston (Mark) Dotson of McCarr, KY, Jessica Triplett (John Burgett) of Canada, KY, and Issac Triplett of Canada, KY.  He was a great Papaw to Jacob Mullins, Karleigh Reed, and Korbin Reed.  Clifford is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loving friends and family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Octavia Freewill Baptist Church, McAndrews, KY with Rev Eric Hubbard officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with grandsons & family serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 10:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church.
