Frank Estep, 81, of Jamboree, KY passed away on December 31, 2018 at Kimper, KY due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born June 2, 1937 in Jamboree, KY a son of the late Leonard and Sarah Estep. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Pamela Marie Estep; one sister: Irene Estep; one half-sister: Polly Prater; and his pets: Shep & Sassy.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 141 Belfry, KY. Frank had worked in a foundry as an industrial electrician and was an A/3C aircraft electrician for the Air Force.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sons: Steven R. Estep of West Liberty, KY & Frank Estep Jr. of Cambridge, OH; one brother: John B. Estep of Freemont, OH; two sisters: Loretta Estep of Jamboree, KY & Nancy Casey of Vulcan, WV; one half-sister: Helen Scarberry of Fenton, MI; and a host of family & friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 P. M. Friday January 4, 2019 in the chapel of the Jones & West Funeral Home at Phelps, KY with Reverend Marvin Casey officiating. Burial will follow in the Blankenship-Estep Cemetery, Jamboree, KY.
Military honors will be conducted by DAV Chapter 141 Belfry, KY.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home with special services at 7:00 P.M.
