Julie Harless RN Obituary

Julie “Stacy” Harless RN, 50, of Louisa, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. She was born May 11, 1968 in Hatfield, KY, a daughter of Alice Faye “Maynard” Stacy and the late Simpson Stacy. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband: Winferd Harless Jr. and an infant sister: Margaret.

Julie was a certified nursing assistant, having worked for the Jordan Center in Louisa, KY. She was a full-time nursing student at Ashland Community and Technical College and was recently awarded her pinning ceremony. Julie was a loving mother, grandmother & friend. Her family & friends meant the world to her.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband: Joe Marcum of Louisa, KY; two sons: Jordan (Lauren) Harless of Richmond, KY & Brad (Alisha) Harless of Louisa, KY; one brother: Simpson Stacy (Carla Webb) of Fallsburg, KY; two sisters: Barbara (Leroy) Harless of Louisa, KY & Genevieve (Jason) Sykes of Elkhorn City, KY; eight grandchildren: Morgan, Kelly, Makayla, Kira, Emberly, Braxton, Alexis & Jase Harless; three nephews: Ricky (Chasity) Harless of Warfield, KY, Alex (Hailey) Coleman of Jefferson City, TN, & Tyler Stacy of Fallsburg, KY; three nieces: Savannah (Delbert) Whitt of Louisa, KY, Alice Harless (Aaron Marcum) of Chattaroy, WV, & Mercedes Wagner of Phelps, KY; and a host of family & friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Friendship United Baptist Church, Louisa, KY with Reverend John Deboard officiating.

Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Louisa with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday at the Friendship United Baptist Church, Louisa, KY.
