Linda Kinder

Linda Kinder, 70, of Lewisburg, TN passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg.  She was born May 22, 1949, a daughter of the late Clifford & Imal Faye “Justice” Cantrell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joey Kevin Kinder; two brothers, James Quinten Cantrell, Danny Harold Cantrell; & one sister, Connie Royal.

Linda was a retired secretary from the Pike County Board of Education and member of Peter Creek Primitive Baptist Church.  She loved to cook, enjoyed being a homemaker & singing in church.  She always made sure everyone was well taken care of & worried about others more than herself.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband: Roger Kinder of Lewisburg, TN; three brothers: Clifford (Jenette) Cantrell of Somerset, KY, Eddie (Linda) Cantrell of Somerset, KY, & Bill Cantrell of Napoleon, OH; two sisters: Shirley Dotson of Paw Paw, KY, & Nadine (Mirten) Mireles of Grand Rapids, MI; two grandchildren: Christian (Haley) Kinder of Lewisburg, TN, & Sierra Kinder of Lewisburg, TN; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 23rd, with special services at 7:00 P.M. at Peter Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 at the Peter Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Phelps, KY with Elders Stevie Kinder, Jimmy Lee Smith, and David Allen Thacker officiating.

Burial will follow in the Kinder Family Cemetery, Phelps, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
