Terry Lee Williams, 65, of Edgarton, WV, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born February 15, 1954, in Matewan, WV, the son of the late Edward R. & Lillie “Hensley” Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Robinett Williams, and two sons, Jack Robinett & Randy Wolford.
Terry was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He lived for hunting and fishing. He spent a lot of time fishing at Big Ugly Creek and East Lynn Lake. He loved digging for ginseng, never met a stranger, and was a great dad.
Those left to honor his memory include one son: Donald Ray (Kathy) Robinett of Sarasota, FL; two daughters, Geneva Bowman and Mildred Ray (Darion Elkins), both of Williamson, WV; one brother-in-law, Bert Robinett; and special family, Josh (Brittany) Jones of Edgarton, WV; Brooke, R.J., & Violet; 14 grandchildren & great grandchildren, and a host of friends and loved ones.
Military funeral rites will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday August 29, 2019 at the Jones & West Funeral Home by DAV Chapter 141, Belfry, KY.
Burial will follow in the Buskirk Radio Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive guests from 12:00 noon Thursday until the time of military rites.
