Thelma Fannin, 85, of Majestic, KY died Monday, December 24, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was born October 16, 1933 at Majestic, KY to the late John and Emma (Preece) Fannin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby (Clyde) Charles, Ruth (Mack) Bedsaul and one brother, Ralph (Julia) Fannin.
She is survived by three brothers, Robert (Ruby) Fannin of Freeburn, KY, Jack (Evelyn) Fannin of Morristown, Tennessee, Clyde Fannin of Phelps, KY, one sister, Ernestine (Claude Jr) Sanders of Majestic, KY; and a host of loving nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Thelma was retired from General Motors in Flint, Michigan as the first woman Superintendent in the automotive plant. She was a member of the Majestic Church of Christ.
A memorial service was held at the Jones and West Funeral Home in Phelps, KY. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens in Huddy, KY.
