Vivian Joy Smith

Vivian Joy Smith, 67, of Phelps, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at her residence. 

She was born January 10, 1952 at Coleman, KY, a daughter of the late Floyd & Geraldine Smith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Adam Smith, one sister: Kathy Casey, one nephew: Toby Smith, and one niece: Lois Smith Auton.

Vivian was of the Christian faith and enjoyed reading & cooking.

Those left to honor her memory include two sons: Kevin Smith (Debbie Ratliff) of Belcher, KY, Matthew Smith of Phelps, KY; four brothers: Everett (Nancy) Smith of Ransom, KY, James (Huletha) Smith of Phelps, KY, Tolbert (Rhonda) Smith of North Carolina, Ricky Smith of Phelps, KY; three sisters: Georgia (Dallas) Smith of Phelps, KY, Margarett Smith of Pigeon Forge, TN, Marcellia (Dwayne) Yates of Sidney, KY; and a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 19th at the Jones & West Funeral Home of Phelps with Reverends James Smith, Michael Casey & Dwayne Yates officiating.

Burial will follow in the Stump Family Cemetery, Smith Fork, Phelps, KY.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with special services at 7:00 P.M.
