Kathleen Cline, 91, of Princeton died Thursday at her daughters home following a long illness. Born February 3, 1929 at Mohawk, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Vernie Lee Hurley Coleman. She was a faithful member for 40 years of the local congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was an avid gardener in the spring and summer and a maker of handmade quilts in the fall and winter. She loved to study her Bible year-round and share her faith with others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Burgess Cline, son Steve Cline, daughter and son in law, Betty and Jerry Hardin, and grandson Glen Cline. Survivors include her eight living children and their spouses; Trudy and Woodrow Kirk of Mohawk, Dalis Cline of Princeton, Ruth and Thomas Bryant of Georgetown, KY, Ann and Melvin Ferrell, Ralph and Bertha Cline all of Stopover, KY, Tracy and Lorena Cline of Hurley, VA, Jacqueline Cline of Princeton, Karen and Chris Johnston of Boissevain, VA; Twenty grandchildren; Forty-five great-grandchildren; Twenty-three great-great-grandchildren; Kathleen had a special friend and caregiver, Robin Howington of Princeton. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Vern Carrington speaking. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home.
