Larry Henry “Paintboy” Caudill of Stopover, KY passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center of Pikeville, KY. He was born November 29, 1948 in Morehead, KY the son of the late James Henry and Ida Mae “Jefferson” Caudill. He was 72 years old.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Emma “Wolford” Caudill, a brother: Arlie Caudill, seven sisters: Mary Wolford, Betty Guy, Nellie Jones, Hilda Blevins, Geneva Rose, Inez Choate, and Viola Gallagher, two grandsons: Cameron James and Mason Duty.
Larry was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam era who worked as a coal miner and an auto mechanic. He loved fishing and camping and enjoyed going out on the boat, especially the Fish Trap Lake at Grapevine, KY. Larry also enjoyed four-wheeling and spending time with his grandchildren. He attended the Shepard Memorial Presbyterian Church of Stopover, KY.
Survivors remaining to honor his memory include five sons: Danny (Cindy) Duty of Majestic, KY, Barry (Kimberly) Duty of Phelps, KY, Gary (Debra) Duty of Phelps, KY, Homer (Bonnie) Duty of Stopover, KY, Hubert Duty (Cathy Hass) of Majestic, KY, four daughters: Angela (William) Walters of Independence, KY, Sheila (Steven) Justice of Stopover, KY, Marcella (George) Sanner of Ocala, FL and Emily Morrison (John Flege) of Independence, KY, a sister: Kathy Osgood of Grove City, OH, special nephew: Rush Choate, 20 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Shepard Memorial Presbyterian Church of Stopover, KY, Sunday March 21, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Kelley Baldridge officiating.
Burial will follow in the Frank Robinette Cemetery of Stopover, KY.
Visitation will be at the church Friday and Saturday evening from 6:00-10:00 P.M. with special services at 7:00 P.M. Saturday. The church will be closed at 10:00 P.M.
