Melissa Wolford

Melissa Wolford, 47, of Phelps, Ky. passed away May 06, 2022, at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Ky.  She was born in Williamson, W.V. on May 02, 1975.  Melissa was the daughter to Virginia and the late Edmond “Eddie” Wolford.  In addition to her father, Melissa was also preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Sue Duty.

Melissa was of the Pentecostal faith.  She had a big heart and would help anyone in need.  Her smile was contagious and would light up the room.  She enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing.  She loved being with her family and friends and was well liked by many. 

Those left to cherish her memory including her mother Virginia, is one daughter, Vanessa Mouser.  One brother, Brian K. Wolford, both of Phelps, Ky.  Nieces, Tessa Norman, Amber McCracken, and Teresa Irick.  Melissa leaves a host of extended family and friends that will sadly miss her presence.

Cremation is set to take place and burial at the Wolford family Cemetery in Phelps, Ky.   Arrangements are under the direction of Jones & West Funeral Home at Phelps, Ky.  Our guestbook may be viewed at www.joneswestfh.com
