Angie Gearles

Angela Kay “Angie” Gearles, 46, of Freeburn, KY, passed away at her residence on September 20, 2018.  She was born December 21, 1971 at Pikeville, KY, a daughter of Sam Osborne of Cardington, OH and Linda Peters of Ohio.  Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her: Willis Jake & Hazel New; and one brother: Willis Jr. New.

Angie was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.  She enjoyed music, collecting Home Interior, and playing with her grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband: Roby Lee Gearles JR. of Freeburn, KY; one son: Devin Roby Lee Gearles of Freeburn, KY; one daughter: Andrea Nicole “Nikki” New of Newtown, WV; seven brothers: Woodrow New of Freeburn, KY, Homer New of Pikeville, KY, Michael (Teresa) New of Blackberry, KY, David New of Ohio, Jimmy New of Ohio, Frankie (Teresa) New of Marengo, OH, Joshua (Christie) Osborne of Delaware, OH; nine sisters: Cindy (Jerod) Deahl of Ohio, Sherry (Jeff) Brumfield of Kimper, KY, Kristie (Robbie) Hatfield of Kimper, KY, Georgia Jennings of Pikeville, KY, Truby Stump of Phelps, KY, Elizabeth (Don) Mclaughlin of Pikeville, KY, Airian (Chad) Persinger of Marengo, OH, Brooke Boggs of Marengo, OH, Alice (Ernest) Lester of Phelps, KY; four grandchildren: Bentlee, Kenlee, Robbi Kylee, Easton Gearles; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Jones & West Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Harold Layne officiating.

Burial will follow at the Freeburn Community Cemetery, Barn Hollow, Freeburn, KY.
 

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Thursday the 27th at the funeral home.
