Bobby Lee Amburn Sr.

Bobby Lee Amburn Sr., 50, of Stone, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center.  He was born June 9, 1967 in Pikeville, KY, a son of the late James Martin & Love Vada Triplett Amburn.  In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two brothers: James E. Amburn, Bruce Randal Amburn; and one sister: Janet Lynn.

Bobby was a member of the McVeigh United Pentecostal Church.  He was a good mechanic and enjoyed working on motors.  In his spare time, he also enjoyed drawing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife: Rebecca Sellards Amburn of Stone, KY; two sons: Bobby Amburn Jr. & Jonathan (Latoshia) Amburn both of Stone, KY; two daughters: Ashley (Kelly) Johnson & Kara (Craig) Thacker both of Stone, KY; one brother: Thomas Amburn of TN; three sisters: Carol Swigert of Spartanburg, SC; Janetta (Vance) Littrell of TN, & Anna (Greg) Queen of Stone, KY; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at McVeigh United Pentecostal with reverends Joseph Crum & Dwayne Chapman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Henry Taylor Cemetery, Brushy, KY with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Thursday & Friday at the church with special services Friday at 7:00 P.M.
