James Wells Obituary

James Allen Wells, 55 of Williamson, WV, passed away on May 6, 2018 at Trinity Healthcare Services in Williamson, WV. He was born October 30, 1962 in Williamson, a son of Dorothy Wells of McCarr, KY and the late Sonny Wells. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two special friends: Freddie & Willie Ferrell.

James Allen enjoyed hunting & fishing. He also loved his nieces & nephews with everything in him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother: Dorothy; two sisters: Patti Blackburn of Hardy, KY & Carole (Andrew) Gilman of Black Jem, KY; nephews: Brandon Wells of Black Jem, Brady Blackburn (Olivia Thacker) of Richmond, KY, Josh (Samantha) Gilman of Richmond; one great nephew: Noah Gilman of Richmond; two great nieces: Madison of Black Jem, KY, Lilah Gilman of Richmond, KY; and one on the way.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be announced at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given directly to the Jones & West Funeral Home in James’ memory to assist the family with expenses.
