Tracy (Eldridge) Daniels

Tracy Ivy Daniels, 83, of Freeburn, KY, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center.  She was born April 15, 1934 in Freeburn, KY, a daughter of the late Anthony & Lennie Mounts Eldridge.  In addition to her parents, Tracy was also preceded in death by her husband: Sid Daniels; three sons: Ray, Tennis & Adam Daniels; one daughter: Susan Daniels Smith; two brothers: Haven & Virgil Eldridge; and one grandson: Brady Smith.

Tracy was a homemaker and a member of the Barrenshe Church of God.   She enjoyed going to church, and working outside planting flowers during her spare time.  She was an all-around good person. 

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons: Billy “Bo” (Paula) Daniels of Freeburn, KY, Lacy Daniels of NC; two daughters: Carla (Billy) Walsh of Knoxville, TN, Shelby Ward of Freeburn, KY; two brothers: Elmer (Henrietta) Eldridge of Crestwood, IL, Billy (Gail) Eldridge of Welch, WV; two sisters: Janice Abshire of Freeburn, KY, Lossie Mounts of Ruth Glen, VA; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great- great- grandchild; and a host of family & friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Barrenshe Church of God, Freeburn, KY with Reverends Bobby Dale Wolford and Doug Maynard officiating.

Burial will follow in the Freeburn Community Cemetery with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Monday at the church with special services at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday.
