Billy McClanahan

Billy McClanahan 66, of McCarr, Kentucky passed away February 7th, 2023, at Tug Valley ARH in South Williamson, Kentucky.  He was born May 7th, 1956, to the late Freddie Edwards and Nettie McClanahan.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Charles McClanahan. 

Billy loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, especially his wife.  He always enjoyed a good visit with his friends.  His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Those surviving Billy is his loving wife, Vickie McClanahan of McCarr, Ky; daughter, Misty Ratliff of Matewan, Wv; special son in law, Malcolm Kinder; brother, Jimmy (Bonnie) McClanahan of Belfry, Ky; grandchildren, Kendra, (Tanner Lambert), Shanda, Mason, and Logan.   

The family would like to welcome friends on Friday, February 10th, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. at Jones & West Funeral Home in Phelps, Ky. with special singing and service at 7:00 P.M. with Odis Blankenship officiating.  Honoring Billy’s wishes, cremation will follow.
