Christine Lawson Price 55, of Delbarton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 3, 2020, following her long battle with cancer. Christine was born October 4, 1964, in Norwich, Connecticut to the late Roger Lee Lawson and the late Hazel Ruth (Yates) Lawson West.

Christine grew up in Williamson WV, where she attended Williamson High School. She was of Christian faith and was recently baptized in 2017. She was a breast cancer survivor, as well as a homemaker and above all else a loving mother and grandmother. Christine was a kind and caring heart and would help anyone and would always welcome you into her home. She never turned anyone away. She would give you her last dollar if you were in need of it. That’s the way she was.

She is preceded in death by former spouse James Price of Corden Indiana and stepfather Clyde West of Burnwell, KY.

She is survived by three daughters Tiffany (Chet) Hatfield of Newtown WV, Alexandria Fields (Carrie Ray) of Delbarton WV, Cheyenne Bryant (Shawn Chapman) of Delbarton WV, one son Robert (Emily) Price of St. Mary’s WV, two sisters Karen (Richard) Seabolt of Sod, WV, Crystal Lawson of Sod WV, two brothers John Lawson of Lincoln County WV, George (Angela) Lawson of Sod, WV, stepmother Madelene Lawson of Sod, WV, and four grandchildren Chett Hatfield, Madison Hatfield, Morgan Hatfield, and Gabriel Bryant. As well as two nieces Ashley Harris, Hope Seabolt, two nephews Roger Harris, Sonny Harris, and a great nephew Ashton Ferrell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the Fundamental Christian Church, Varney, WV with Reverend Jay West officiating.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of services. Guidelines for social distancing and limitation of visitors will be observed.
