Davy Eugene Pruitt

Davy Eugene Pruitt 50, of Phelps, KY departed this life on October 23rd, 2023, at his residence. 

He was born in Pikeville, KY on October 11th, 1973, a son of Eugene and Sadie Mae “Slone” Pruitt of Phelps, KY. 

Davy was of the Baptist Faith.  He was a mastermind when it came to any handyman work.  He enjoyed woodworking and was a fantastic mechanic.  He also had a green thumb and could make anything grow. In his spare time, he loved to fish.  Davy loved his daughter, Megan and his dogs, Humphrey, and Gator. 

In addition to Davy’s parents, he is also survived by his daughter, Megan (Tyler) “Wolfy” Wolford of Georgetown, KY; sister, Jeannie Sargent of Phelps, KY; nephew, Josh (Alyssa) Sargent of Phelps, KY; nieces, Alyssa Sargent (BJ Hamilton) of Majestic, KY, and Sarah Sargent of Phelps, KY; great niece, Layla Sargent. 

A private graveside service was held, and interment concluded at the Sargent Family Cemetery in Phelps, KY.
