Gary Ray Blankenship

Gary Ray Blankenship of Pikeville, KY departed this life Sunday

May 24, 2020 at his home. He was born December 9, 1971

in Franklin County, Ohio the son of Artemus Pete and Virginia

Blankenship. He was 48 years old.

He was preceded in death by a brother Michael Blankenship

and a sister Debra Blankenship.

Gary was disabled and spent a lot of time playing with his grandchildren. He

also enjoyed fishing and traveling seeing new things and places.

Survivors remaining to honor his memory include his loving wife

Donna Blankenship, two sons; Gary Blankenship Jr. and Jonathan

Blankenship both of Pikeville, KY, two daughters; Brittany Blankenship of

Meta, KY, and Jessica Blankenship (Emzie) of Phelps, KY, two brothers

Artemus Blankenship and Curtis (Melissa) Blankenship both of Matewan, WV,

a sister Tammy Blankenship of Stopover, KY, four grandchildren; Emzie,

Alice, Bella, and Judith Blankenship. He is also survived

by other family, neighbors, and friends.

A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later time.
