Pearl Sullivan

Pearl Sullivan 86, of Mt. Sterling, Ky., formerly of Majestic, passed away on March 2nd, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was born on April 17th, 1936 to the late Arthur and Hattie “Prater” Sullivan.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded by her sons, Ernest, and Billy Kent Dotson; daughter, Kathy Smith; brother, Harold Sullivan; sister, Bessie Adkins; and one grandson, Ronald Hamilton.

Pearl was of the Apostolic Faith and a member of Faith Mission Church in McCarr, Ky.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and family.  Pearl was an excellent cook, which she enjoyed doing so much. 

She will be deeply missed by her daughter in law, Leaetta Blankenship; special niece, Jody Hill; brothers, Ernest Denver (Ida Jean) Sullivan of Freeburn, Ky; Danny Ray (Angela) Sullivan of North Carolina; sister, Carolyn (Robert) Daugherty of Freeburn, Ky; grandchildren, Clell Dotson, John (Donetta) Dotson, Billy (Beverly) Dotson, Shannon (Pinkie) Chapman, Rocky Maynard, Janetta Dotson, Amanda Dotson, Angel Edwards, Erica Wolford, Misty (Timmy) Dement, Karla Dotson (JJ Justice), and Breanna Hurley.  22 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, March 5th, 2023, at Faith Mission Church in McCarr, Ky. with special services beginning at 7:00 P.M. with Pastors, Jimmy Fields, and Marty Sullivan officiating.  The funeral will begin at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 6th, 2023, at the church.  Interment will follow at Buddy Mounts Cemetery in Majestic, Ky.  Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
