Stewart Wolford

With much sadness we announce the passing of Stewart Wolford 74, of Stopover, KY on March 19th, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on December 5th, 1949, at Stopover, KY, a loving son of the late Jessie and Sophia “Robinette” Wolford.

In addition to Stewart’s parents, he was also preceded by his brothers, Hirma Wolford, John Wesley Wolford, and Isaac Wolford, sisters, Esta Mae Hurley, Nora Morrow, Emma Caudill, Zetta Faye Caudill, and Macy Wolford.  Lifelong friends, Frank, and Gloria Robinette.

Stewart was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and husband.  He was well known for his sense of humor and a good laugh.  Stewart enjoyed fishing, hunting, and four-wheeler riding.  He loved his children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed.

Those remaining to honor Stewart’s memory include his loving wife, Angela Joe Wolford of Stopover, KY; daughters, Jessica (Travis) Fletcher of Shelbyville, KY, Chasity Wolford of Kimper, KY, and Kashenna Wolford of Belfry, KY; one brother, Tracy Wolford of Delorme, WV; grandchildren, Trevor and Brayden Fletcher of Shelbyville, KY; a special nephew like a son, Franklin “Bug” Wolford of Stopover, KY.  Also, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Honoring Stewart’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation will take place.
